Method of consumption – Flower; Smoking. —- Smell – I will divvy this category up in three pieces; Full flower, grounded up flower, and smoke. Full – Sour Diesel lives up to its’ name. It’s smelly, sour, and definitely pungent. It’s not a strain you want to carry and hide with at the same time. Ground – Here, I thought the full bud was stinky. I was awfully wronged. My face immediately lit up as I work at the grinder. I knew what I’m going to have from the smell alone. Smoke – I am not a fan of gasoline/ kerosene in terms of scent, but oddly the combination of herb and diesel is okay in my books now. It’s an acquired “scent”, I suppose. Haha. —- Taste – This strain isn’t something you want to savor when it comes to taste. It’s bitter beyond belief. However, I occasionally can detect a faint citrus profile. It’s also mildly spicy. —- Effect – Sour Diesel is, actually, my first sativa strain to try. Ever. I only had hybrids or indicas. I don’t know what to expect of a sativa. The head high was immediately evident after few hits. It was uplifting and intellectually stimulating. Almost a euphoric ecstasy, if you will. I felt the need to stay busy; Alert, creative, and restless. I’m tidy person, but I could do an entire house spring cleaning easily, twice, with this strain. I can imagine this could pair up well with breakfast on the go. (Maybe not with coffee.) Or, when you need a little pick-me-up after a long day, this would work. Did help with my pain, but not as much. I’d like to believe it’s possibly because it’s not noticeable like the head high it was giving me. I’m not even mad because I still feel great after the buzz is gone. Every time. (I need to clarify; I don’t give a strain a solo chance. I had, around, four to five grams of this.) Although, I need to put a warning label for this because… If you overdo it with Sour Diesel, you’ll regret it. This strain can cause anxiety attacks, paranoia, and general uncomfortableness. Fortunately, I didn’t have an attack but I did feel weirded out and a bit paranoid. Lesson learned, but at most it’s easily cured by sleeping it off or allow yourself indulge into munchies. (Not necessarily a negative. Just an inexperienced move I made which could end up as a good tip/ lesson for others.) — Negatives – [[DRY MOUTH]] — Steel your throats up because this strain will claw at them like it’s nothing. I had a horrible case of dry mouth but, it was like a straight-from-the-bottle Scottish whiskey burn feel. And, don’t be surprised if you wake up with a feeling of your entire esophagus being caked with something. The dry mouth effect is honestly off the charts. Here’s a tip. I learned that I find it more manageable if I did, somewhat, smaller hits, replace the (drinking or bong, your choice) water with chilled / cold peppermint tea, or put an entire water bong in the freezer. — Munchies – I’ll give it a 7.5 on the scale of 1 to 10. It’s medium high. Easily ignored if you wait for an hour or more, but at the same time it isn’t if you are hungry. — Extra – Highly recommended for whoever are sativa lovers (I was referred to this by one), whoever needs to be up and going, whoever needs the creative boost, and such. This strain is also a “social” strain as well as it uplifts you up or fill you with funnies. Thanks to this strain, I now can believe that I’m more of a hybrid gal. I will continue to try more sativas in short (and long) future. Don’t get me wrong, this one is amazing. One of my top choices actually. My medical conditions are anxiety, Crohn’s disease, insomnia, migraines, PTSD, and spinal injury (disc herniation).

Sour Diesel is incredibly uplifting, euphoric, and introspective. As much as it is a strong sativa, with a powerful head high, the body high is nice and balanced as well. It’s relatively comforting. Sour Diesel can be an active strain. What I love about it is I can get work done, and not just be a Netflix and Hot Cheetos zombie on the couch. My brain is active and introspective, which brings some cool creative thoughts and feelings of connection with others. You tend to feel very in control while smoking Sour Diesel, which would not be great for those that like the dissociative affects of some weed strains. All in all, its a fun strain that keeps you relaxed and active at the same time.

This is my first 10/10 strain and I have been enjoying trees for about 7 months. The aroma and flavor come off in that beautiful burnt-rug way, and the way it hits… good god, you will be over the moon in ten minutes no matter how much you have. This is a Sativa, and most [Sd] flower strains are at least 80% S hybrid. Don’t let that make you think that you won’t have a full body experience. Having said that, the headiness of the high is the showcase. You feel it in your face and you want nothing more than to lean back and talk with whoever you’re with for the next few hours. Having said that, this is just as good a strain for alone-time use, as the creativity that comes out of this bud is unlike anything I’ve ever encountered.

Sour diesel is great it really helps me out with my ADHD and keeps my focus at a maximum while keeping my spirits uplifted and my thoughts happy as well. While I wouldn’t classify this as a patrol or gasoline on from it’s Chemdog side, it does provide a 50-50 side of Sativa and Indica. The all around great weed strain. Dabbed this one. Very strong head high. Anxiety gone. I was mad about somethin but I’m not anymore, nor do I have any idea what it was about in the first place. You cannot concentrate much on this strain. My mind is all over the place. The cheeseburger I was making started talking to me. How fun! Wakes ya up in the eye department but keeps the body very lazy and calm while in a relaxed position. If you’re at the gym your workout will be amazing though! Just don’t sit down, you might stay there and start dreaming about dogs pooping or cookies floating in the sky.

A short high. I’m a fairly new smoker so it lasted me a good two hours. It isn’t super fast hitting but give it a good 15-30 minutes and you are waavyyyy. Powerful stuff. Whoa. Had about 4 or 5 tokes and then played golf. I couldn’t even hit the ball. Think I’ll stick to Indica strains when swinging the sticks! LOL This strain is really good. High Review Time Okay so I just smoked a dime of this strain. I’m going to talk about it in categories so enjoy: Look: It looks like a sour green with a side of some red hairs. 4/5 Smell: Almost a diesel type smell hence its name plus a little touch of pine, just a little bit. 4.5/5 Inhale: Smooth until it reaches your lungs. 3.5/5 Exhale: Smooth but I guess it depends on how long you keep it in. 4/5 Taste: Piney and delicious taste, you will never forget it. 4.8/5 Overall High: Strong head high and really relaxing control over the body. It’s a creeper and sometimes a direct hit depending on how much you inhale and how long you keep it in. The comedown is just simply perfect, Actually a good sativa to sleep on. Sour diesel is by far, one of my favorite strains. It has an uplifting and positive outlook effect that can cure some slight depression or a bad day instantly. I like to smoke it and do projects in the yard or around the house. There is almost no fatigue or drowsiness effects for me. OPTIMUM –
Sour Diesel is my first “true” strain to smoke, and I must say, I’m incredibly pleased. I’m NOT a huge fan of the taste, as it IS sour and gasoline-like (don’t know what other people mean when they say it tastes fruity). But it’s not offensive either. After the second rip from a small bowl, I could feel the high begin to blanket me in a confidence-boosting warmth. The high was far from extreme; more subtle and second-thought-ish. I felt totally normal, but uplifted and floaty, very positive, totally anxiety free, talkative and social, focused and energetic. In my opinion, it’s the way to be all the time. I cleaned my entire apartment (dusted and all lol), wrote a few emails, played video games, watched TV shows, read some more of a book, caught up with a few people, and still had plenty of time to do other stuff. I just felt productive, on top of all the other positive feelings. This may be just me, but I’ve also noticed that at some point, every time I smoke Sour D, I get horny for a while lol (shrugs). No couch lock at all for me which makes it a great day starter. Overall, this is the best strain I’ve ever smoked, and I feel like it’s gonna be really hard for any other strain to change that.

I’ve only smoked the flower version of sour diesel thus far and lately I’ve been smoking alot of wax, kief, and hash, so when I finally for the 1st time tried Sour Diesel (since I’m normally an indica or hybrid guy), it took me awhile to finally get a chance to try sour d and all I could find at the dispensaries at the time here in Sacramento was the flower/buds, so I bought an 8th the 1st time and I got home and immediately packed a bowl with it and holy shit I was surprised and in a good way. I wasn’t expecting the effects to be very strong in flower form cuz I’ve been spoiling myself with wax all the time, but this sour diesel had me feeling just right. I suffer from bipolar disorder and my depression gets very bad, to the point where I literally will just lay in bed all day and just cry for no reason and I’ll be that way for 7-10 days at a time and I will only leave my room to take a piss and occasionally eat since I don’t eat very much when I’m depressed. But man I took only 4 strong hits of this strain and I was happy all of a sudden, I felt a really nice warm pressure in my head and it was relaxing mentally and somewhat physically even though it definitely gives you energy, so u really get the best of both worlds. Next thing I knew after I smoked my 1st bowl of this I was jumping in the shower, and going and getting a haircut, and just taking care of little things that I normally wouldn’t be doing while crying my days away with my face buried in the pillow 24/7. I take meds everyday and I take them several times throughout the day and I’ve been taking them since I was 18 and I’m 30 now and so far I have yet to try 1 bipolar medication that works as good as Sour diesel!!!
